This bonet will fit any of the classic minis to replace the heavy (and probably rusty) original bonnet. Both the mk1 and mk3 style will fit any mini, the difference being the grille type used. The mk3 bonnet has a lip allowing the top section of the front grill to be attached to the bonnet, wheras the mk1 bonnet does not hae this (the grille surround is not attaced to the bonnet).

Bonnet weights are as follows (weights may vary due to manufacturing process, gelcoat or carbon fibre): Option1:  2.33kg Option 2: 1.85kg  Option3: 1.2kg.

Ready to fit upgrade:

We can also supply 'READY TO FIT' bonnets, which are supplied with pre-bonded brackets which enables you to mount them using your original hinges and spring lock. These are a cost effective way of using the original fittings to attach the bonnet, preenting the requirement of bonnet pins to attach the bonnet to the car. Simply select from the drop down menu.

Elite Bonnets have been designed and constructed to give all the features of the original steel bonnet, so maximum rigidity due to the internal x brace, bonnet prop brackets, bonnet lock spring bracket (adjstable also) Hinge plates, and a safety catch are all included in the bonnet price. They are by far the strongest composite bonnet on the market and can be seen as a direct replacement for the steel bonnet. Ideal for show cars, everyday road use, yet with an impressive weight saing over the original steel panel are perfectly suited to track days also. Weight 3.25kg.
